Our Recycling Partnership & Reward Programme works with mosques, schools, community groups and organisations to encourage responsible recycling and turn recyclable materials into value.

What Is Green Day?

Green Day is a community recycling event where everyone can bring their recyclables and be part of our Sustainable Movement.

How Does Green Day Work?

Through our Recycling Buy-Back Programme, participating organisations can collect recyclable materials (through Green Day events) from their communities and arrange for us to purchase the collected items based on their type, quality and weight.

The value of the recyclable materials purchased is returned to the organisation as a recycling reward, which can be used to support its own activities and community initiatives.

This programme creates a simple cycle of Collect. Recycle. Reward. — encouraging greater community participation in recycling while giving recyclable materials a second life.

What Do We Collect?

Quran Shredding

Items with Quranic verses are shredded finely until no letter shape remains, then sent for recycling. Good-condition Qurans are donated to the needy. *Disposal fee applies for good-condition Qurans.

Textiles

Clothes and fabrics are sorted and exported to developing countries by our recycling partners, giving them a new life abroad.

Metal / Paper / Books

Other materials are sorted and sent to respective recycling facilities in Singapore for responsible processing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have new items to donate?

We encourage those wishing to donate clothes to the needy to look for charity organizations and check if they require them. Alternatively, drop them during our Green Day Events!

Does your company donate the clothes you collect?

We are a PTE LTD company, not a charity. We collaborate with local communities to collect recyclables sold as second-hand goods. Funds are channeled to the collaborator per agreement.

Can good-conditioned Islamic Books & Quran be donated instead of shredded?

Yes! Payment is still required for collection. These will either be delivered to the needy overseas or given to those in Singapore.

Do I get cash by recycling?

No, cash is not given directly to individuals who recycle. The funds collected are channeled to the organisations that arrange their Green Day event with us, in support of their charitable causes.
