THE REQUIREMENT
Make responsible disposal easy to join—and possible to measure.
Community institutions needed a practical way for households and congregants to bring textiles, paper, metal, household items and religious materials to a trusted local collection point. The programme had to be simple enough for a family to participate in on a Saturday morning, and structured enough to produce records that could be reviewed and improved.

Provide each participating institution with a clear collection date and practical guidance for households and congregants.

Weigh or count each material stream, separate sensitive materials and capture the result at event level.

Route responsibly
Direct suitable materials towards reuse or recovery and handle religious materials through the agreed respectful process.
